" -- Himalayan Path Universal Yoga: The Bhagavad Gita for Modern Times, is a translation and commentary on the seminal text of yoga philosophy. Early Reviews of Universal Yoga: "Congratulations for adding a shining new gem to the garland of Gita translations. While this commentary is from a Western perspective, it never deviates from that essential and radiant truth imparted by the great Eastern sages and yogis of long ago. Love of the Sanskit language is apparent throughout." --Ma Bhaskarananda, Ananda Ashram, Monroe, NY "The Bhagavad Gita is one of the most sublime dialogues in our mythical history. It reveals the unlikely circumstances that force its hero into an insufferable quandry. The dramatic resolution that unfolds poignantly illumines those timeless dilemmas of love and betrayal, justice and mercy, suffering and retribution, death and immortality. Prem Prakash's significant translation and provocative commentary stirs us to view this classical story within the ambiance of our personal lives." --Swami Jaidev Bharati, Institute of the Himalayan Tradition Yoga Class DVD
